Dr. Octavia Amaechi, MD, FAAFP is a dedicated board-certified Family Medicine physician with nearly twenty years of experience practicing full spectrum outpatient and inpatient care right in the Upstate of South Carolina. Dr. Amaechi strives to treat every patient as an individual - listening always and tailoring care to their needs.

Dr. Amaechi has worked in leadership roles and spaces ranging from large hospital systems, local, statewide, and national medical organizations. Her areas of expertise are academic medicine, community and healthcare advocacy, and innovation within clinical working environments. She is passionate about addressing community needs and determinants of health so everyone can be their best selves!

Dr. Amaechi loves spending time with her three amazing children, exercising, keeping up with medical literature and enjoying the wonderful experiences the Upstate has to offer.
