Marlon Hunter has more than twenty-five years of combined experience in public health, healthcare, occupational safety, and environmental health. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Health and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Management. Mr. Hunter has a broad range of experiences with government and private organizations in urban and rural communities.
Mr. Hunter served with DeKalb County Board of Health in Decatur Georgia, Carolina’s Health Care System in Charlotte, North Carolina, Florida Department of Health in Tallahassee, and most recently as Public Health Director at Forsyth County Department of Public Health in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Mr. Hunter is now serving as President and Chief Executive Officer with ReGenesis Health Care in Spartanburg SC.
Under his leadership, he has served on numerous community-based boards in efforts to improve Local, State, National and Global Health Outcomes.
Jeff Ballenger is the Vice President of Strategy and Development. Jeff has twenty-five years of leadership experience primarily in not for profits. Prior to joining ReGenesis, Jeff worked for the Charles Lea Center as SR Vice President of Innovative and Supportive Services. Mr. Ballenger has experiences in human resources, quality, leadership training, employee engagement, operations, corporate development, and strategic planning.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in Management & Marketing from the University of SC and a master’s degree in Executive Leadership from Liberty University. Jeff has spoken at state, regional, and national conferences on leadership and innovative strategies supporting people’ desire for greater independence in their lives using technology.
Jeff has a passion for serving the community, especially the underserved. Jeff firmly believes leaders must “Think like there is no box” to the opportunities faced within an organization. Jeff is committed to serving people and the greater community, helping to connect people to services and resources.
Dr. Jami Cokley, DMD is the Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Cokley started her career at ReGenesis in 2014 as staff dentist and transitioned to Director of Dental Services before stepping into the CMO role in July 2023.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Coastal Carolina University; her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina; and completed her General Practice Residency at Vidant Medical Center affiliated with East Carolina University.
She enjoys practicing dentistry and is especially interested in the mouth-body connection and systemic impacts of oral health on the body and vice versa. In addition to improving Oral Health, she has a personal and professional mission to serve the underserved. Outside of the office, Dr. Cokley enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter.
Richard "Rich" Long is the Chief Financial Officer at ReGenesis Health Care. Previously, he served as the controller at ReGenesis for the last four years. With 23 years of experience in hospital accounting, including 12 years as a controller, Rich brings extensive expertise to his role. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Charleston Southern University.
Rich is a retired member of the United States Navy Reserve and is also a member of the American Legion. He lives in York, SC with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys hunting and fishing.
Summer Tebalt is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare field. In addition to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Summer holds a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from South University. Summer has extensive experience in community health, including care management for populations with complex health and social needs, addressing the social determinants of health, and improving access to care and health outcomes for vulnerable and under-resourced populations.
Summer previously worked for Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System as Director of AccessHealth Spartanburg, RN Care Manager for AccessHealth Spartanburg, and as a Care Manager for Spartanburg Regional Home Health. She is a Furman University Riley Institute Fellow and a 2017 graduate of The Spartanburg County Foundation Grassroots Leadership Development Institute.
Summer is an avid runner and reader. She lives in Inman, SC with her husband and two daughters.
Eric Rogers is the Chief Human Resources Officer for ReGenesis Health Care with more than twenty-five years of leadership experience from private organizations. Mr. Rogers has a broad range of experiences, including personnel relations, talent acquisition, training, compliance, employee engagement, team building, emergency response training, and various other aspects of the HR function.
Mr. Roger’s earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Winthrop University in Rock, Hill, SC in 1994. He earned his dual Master of Arts degree in Management and Human Resources Development in 2001 from Webster University.
Eric is a member of the Strategic Human Resource Management society (SHRM) and a Board member for the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance (SCMA) for both the Human Resources and Safety Activity and Seminar planning boards.
