Dr. Christopher Shawl, DO graduated from Southern Oregon University with bachelor’s degree in chemistry and psychology, and later received his medical degree from Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences - College of Osteopathic Medicine in Yakima, Washington. He completed his residency training at the Prisma Health - University of South Carolina Greer Psychiatry Residency Program. He has prior experience as a hospital chaplain and in community mental health as a case manager and care coordinator. In his spare time, he likes to spend it with his family at home, in the upstate, and traveling on various camping excursions available in the Carolinas. Some of his personal hobbies are doing DIY home projects, collecting vinyl records, and appreciating local music.
