Overview

ReGenesis Health Care is seeking a Full Time Budget Analyst to join our well-established practice in Spartanburg, SC.  You will be responsible for assisting the Chief Financial Officer in planning, coordinating, and implementing ReGenesis Community Health Center activities and programs relating to internal and external matters and facilitating all required tasks as the Budget Analyst.  The position provides the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Annual Operating Budget – Prepares annual statistical and financial budget, in collaboration with the appropriate staff, for CFO approval.  Meets regularly with program and site managers to review monthly financial results and develop a plan for negative trends and informs CFO about any arising issues related to such.
  • Corporate Credit Card – Manage corporate credit card systems.  Ensures compliance with the written policy.  Prepare monthly journal entry for proper posting within the general ledger
  • Federal, State and Local Grants – Research and develop scope for potential grants.  Implement writing and monitoring processes to remain compliant with grant standards and updates.
  • Payment Management System – Submit for reimbursement, reconciliation of balances and filing of requested reports and information.
  • Pharmacy Accounts Receivable – Ensure posting of reimbursement and proper balances of the accounts receivable.
  • Supply Management – Manage supply request, maintain proper inventory levels within the operating budget.
  • Ancillary Billing – Prepares invoicing and monitors collection of all ancillary billings
  • Federal Reporting – Responsible for the timely filing of reports, complies necessary information and completes schedules for the Budget Period Renewal (BPR), Service Area Competition (SAC) Budget, Uniform Data System (UDS) and other HRSA reporting requests.
  • Fixed Asset Management – Manages fixed asset system for proper reporting and accounting of company assets
  • Will make recommendations for changes to financial policies based on agency needs.
  • Facilitate and conduct in-service and training for middle management and other staff for assigned duties.
  • Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Education- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.

Skills

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and issues.
  • Effective and persuasive presentation skills on controversial or complex topics to executive management and middle management.
  • Must be able to calculate figures and amounts for all bookkeeping, payroll, budgets, statistical analysis, and probability statements.
  • Must possess a valid S.C. Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Must maintain clean S.C. Motor Vehicle record.
  • Must have effective training and supervision skills
  • Budget Analyst must use the utmost discretion in all presentations, correspondence and communication for staff and CFO.

Experience

  • Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Care facility preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and ability to communicate effectively orally and written.
  • Three to five years of demonstrated experience within a health care environment.
