Migrant Health

ReGenesis Health Care (RHC) became the grantee for the South Carolina Migrant Health Program (MHP) in December 2009. Since that time RHC has provided medical and interpretation services to over 405 farm-worker patients at our two main migrant program locations: Gaffney and Lyman.

The mission of the SC MHP is to improve the health status of the Migrant and Seasonal farm workers and their families in South Carolina by providing and promoting culturally and linguistically competent health care services.

ReGenesis Health Care's Migrant Health Program provides seasonal health clinics that operate May and continue through October. In an effort to serve this population’s special needs; transportation and interpretation services are provided and are essential to the success of the program. In order to effectively address the myriad of issues faced by the Migrant Seasonal Farm Workers, ReGenesis Health Care will continue to provide comprehensive clinical and enabling services after the seasonal clinics have ended at the three different clinical locations including Gaffney, ReGenesis Health Care at Middle Tyger Community Center in Lyman and Spartanburg.
