Back to School Health Fair
 

Every year RHC hosts its annual Back to School Health Fair. Over 5000 people total attend events in both Spartanburg and Cherokee Counties. Free health screenings, back packs and school supplies are provided to over 2300 children on the days of the events. Each backpack is filled with needed supplies including notebooks, filler paper, crayons, glue sticks, markers, folders, binders, dictionaries, pens, pencils, scissors, thesauruses, highlighters, and composition books. Over 6000 health screenings are administered and include hearing, vision, weight, height, glucose/ diabetes, skin, breast, asthma, dental, foot and several others. In addition, over 60 community organizations participate in the event and distribute information on community re-sources. Free food and drinks are also provided to parents and children.

ReGenesis Health Care will host its Annual Back to School Health Fair (BTSHF) in Gaffney on Saturday July 21, 2012 and in  Spartanburg on Saturday July 28, 2012. Over 60 community partners will converge to offer free health screenings, provide educational materials about community resources, and equip kids with the supplies needed to go back to school! The BTSHF features parents, teachers, community volunteers, and most importantly our students. The ReGenesis Health Care BTSHF unites all the elements of the community to ensure the health and success of both students and their families.
